Ever wondered how grapevines get their start—or how grapes can thrive right here in Colorado? Join us at Carboy Winery for a truly hands-on vineyard experience where you’ll plant your very own grapevine cutting and sip Carboy wine while you learn.

We’ll kick off the evening with a guided walk through the vineyards, exploring how grapevines grow, why Colorado is uniquely suited for viticulture, and what makes our growing conditions so special. Then we’ll head outdoors to our workshop tables for the main event: vine propagation!

• Enjoy a guided tour and talk on Colorado grape growing
• Learn the basics of vine cloning and propagation from green vines
• Choose your grape varietal:
• • Teroldego
  • Albariño
  • Syrah
• Take a cutting directly from a vine of your choice
• Dip your cutting in rooting solution
• Plant it in a pot with soil and perlite to begin root development

• Your own planted grapevine cutting
• A vine care sheet with tips on:
• • Caring for your cutting while roots establish
  • When and how to repot
  • Setting your vine up for long-term success

• All materials and instruction
• One glass of Carboy wine included with each ticket
• Additional wine available for purchase
