Planning & Zoning Meeting on Spring Ave Development

The Planning & Zoning Commission will be considering a conditional use proposal to build 25 townhome units at the northwest corner of Mill St. and Spring Ave. It is important that residents attend the meeting and provide input as the development here and at a future date further west on Spring Ave. will have significant traffic implications throughout the neighborhood. Traffic impacts have been insufficiently considered in the development proposal.
Although the proposed density is within City guidelines for R2 with a conditional use, the surrounding traffic patterns as documented in the City's 2021 Westside Traffic Study, will further negatively affect an already dangerous intersection and surrounding streets.
