Hello Vancouver atheists, agnostics, and secular allies! We’re organizing a friendly, respectful pamphlet handout to support people who are curious about life beyond religion. Join us for pizza, a short briefing, and a one-hour distribution in small teams.� When
* Saturday, September 2nd, 2025, 5:00–7:00 pm (PT)
� Where
* Italian Garden, west side of Hastings Park (Vancouver) — see map image below for the exact meeting point.
� Schedule
5:00 pm – Free pizza & pop (Panago) + volunteer briefing
5:00–7:00 pm – Pamphlet handout in pairs/small teams
� Who we’re looking for
* Up to 12 reliable volunteers (we already have 3 confirmed). Whether you’re experienced with outreach or brand new, you’re welcome.
� What to expect
* Thoughtful, non-confrontational outreach with clear guidelines
* Pamphlets and simple talking points provided
* About one hour of light walking; please bring comfy shoes and water
� Code of conduct
Be courteous, consent-based, and non-disruptive. Respect “no thanks,” follow park rules, and keep sidewalks clear.
� Rides & Accessibility
A few ride shares are available (3 seats). Let us know if you need a lift.
