Magick&Moss x Lucy Sherston ~ Summer Walk+Zine Workshop

Come join magick and moss club for another Wandering Women offering o' dreams, as we team up with long time wanderer, purveyour of eternal sunshine, illustrator and artist extraordinaire Lucy Sherston, for a glorious summer filled walk and zine workshop.

For this walk we'll meander through Hastings Country park, through ancient gill woodland and leafy glenns, across golden field and sun drenched meadows, collecting drawings and inspiration along the way. The route will weave slowly up along the gorse spattered paths of the Fire Hills and end at the pub with the best sign around...The Cove! (In the cosy village of Fairlight). There we'll haul up in their loft space to collate our walk inspirations into a mixed media concertina zine, bottlin' up and documenting those last of sun beams of summer... (and drink some pints obvs).

You'll also get packet of carefully collected Sussex wildflower seeds, slowly and sustainably collected over the changing season, from the edges of the very paths you'll have strolled on the walk.

We will be starting in Hastings - exact meeting location will be emailed out, along with contact details etc nearer the time. There are regular buses back from Fairlight to make our way back to Hastings/to the station for further connections back to Brighton/London/Lewes.

The route is about 8-9km and quite undulating, but we'll be making plenty of stops along the way. Make sure to wear comfy shoes and bring some snacks!
