The Heart Walk is the largest community initiative by the American Heart Association, raising crucial funds for lifesaving research, CPR education, and promoting equitable health for all.
When you Heart Walk, with each step not only do you help raise funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heart disease and stroke, you help promote physical activity and heart-healthy living.
Additionally, we encourage Pittsburghers to learn Hands-Only CPR and have at least one person in every household confident and prepared to perform CPR. By participating in the Pittsburgh Heart Walk you will help raise awareness and turn Pittsburgh into a city of Lifesavers.
