Pittsburgh Healing Festival - 15th Anniversary

The Pittsburgh Healing Festival is an annual gathering to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in Holistic Living and want to build Community Connections. This year is our 15th Anniversary!

All the event info is down below, but one important factor is DIRECTIONS. Please bear with us for a moment, because if you plan to come, we want to 100% ensure that you can find us in the park. We highly suggest spending 5 minutes mapping out the exact location a few days in advance, so you know where you are going. Here are a few important things to read over regarding directions :

If you use Google Maps, please enter “Schenley Park Overlook”. If you use Apple Maps please type into GPS : “Schenley Skating Rink” and we are at the upper entrance. We will be at the VERY TOP of the hill, next to the swingset, and the upper entrance to "Schenley Park Ice Skating Rink." At the top of the hill, you should see us in the field amidst some trees, with about 8 multi colored tents. Our location is about 50 yards from the main restrooms for Schenley Oval Sports Complex (which has a soccer field and tennis courts). There will be parking along the street on Overlook Drive. If you can't find us, please text me (Kevin) 412-298-5341, and I will call you back as soon as possible. We will also put up many NEON PINK Signs nearby with arrows which say HEALING FESTIVAL.

The technical address is 1 Overlook Drive, but sometimes it also lists 10721 Overlook Drive but if you type in either of those, PLEASE MAKE SURE the zip code is 15217, otherwise it will take you to a far off location. We are at Schenley Park Overlook in Squirrel Hill, about 100 feet from the "Schenley Park Ice Skating Rink"

The Blvd of the Allies bridge is still closed, so we suggest taking 376 and taking Exit 74 - Squirrel Hill / Homestead, then making the first sharp right and taking Beechwood Blvd towards the Greenfield Bridge, going across the bridge, then making a left on Greenfield Road, then make the first left onto Overlook Drive and take it all the way to the VERY TOP, and that is where we are! Tickets start at only 10 $, then there are higher tiers if you want to contribute more towards this event. You can also get tickets on the day of the event at the welcome tent, which is a yellow tent with balloons on it, near the food tables. It's not mandatory to get a ticket, but it helps us cover our costs to create this event. And no need to get tickets for kids. We also ask everyone to bring a dish or snack to contribute to the Potluck. Ideally a healthy homemade dish, with a list of ingredients, so people can know what they will be eating. We will also have compostable bowls, plates and utensils, but please bring a reusable bowl, utensil and water bottle if possible, so we can reduce waste.

Suggested things to bring : Food for Potluck (and ideally with a list of ingredients / potential allergies ) Other things which can be good to have : A hat for the sun, jacket / umbrella in case of rain, a blanket for the ground, outdoor toys, a folding chair, instruments, and friends. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. Also, It is okay to arrive and leave anytime during the event.

TICKETS :

All Ticket price options give you admission to the event and all workshops. The price differences correspond to how many raffle tickets you will receive. Each raffle ticket is a 5$ value, so a 10$ ticket gets 2, 20$ ticket gets 4, and 40$ ticket gets 8 raffle tickets.

Tickets help us to cover the costs of producing this event. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Our main goal is to bring people together, so please join in if you feel inspired, regardless of how much you can contribute.

WORKSHOPS + GROUP DISCUSSIONS :

1. Reprogram Your Mind. Change Your Life - with Jacqui Giordano of Sanctuary of Wings and Light : Explore foundational concepts to help you shift from reactive to mindful living, reconnect with your authentic self, and open your senses to new possibilities. This interactive session invites meaningful conversation around transformation, healing, and personal growth.

2. Exploring Nature Therapy with James (Medicine Scout) : James will guide participants to learn skills to help with physical and mental trauma allowing nature to heal mind, body and spirit.

3. Oral Sound Healing Session with Bliss : A breathwork and vocal sound reset for your system, ending with a quick EFT/TFT cooldown to ground and integrate.

4. Introduction to the Worldwide Movement- Peace, Love + Respect with Big King Sadiq

5. Connect to your Spirit Guides + Angels with Margie Longwell : Margie will assist participants in tuning into their spiritual allies through meditation and a sound healing experience.

1. Networking for Entrepreneurs and Healers with Erin Scherer : Erin will facilitate some connection activities for Wellness Practitioners and Entrepreneurs to meet and connect.

2. Oracle Cards 101 with Zen : A beginners guide to self reflection. A way to strengthen your inner wisdoms and intuition. Knowing and growing oneself using oracle cards for personal insight.

3. Freestyle Cypher with Fungi Flows : We are excited to welcome world renowned Freestyle Rapper, Parker Webb aka Fungi Flows back to the Pittsburgh Healing Festival. He's been a part of our community events for over 10 years and on May 16th, he will be facilitating a Freestyle Cypher - a place to co-create through rhyme and rhythm.

5. Guided Meditation on Unconditional Love with Genna Rose

What if love isn’t something outside of you to find… but the very essence of who you are? In this powerful guided meditation, Genna Rose will lead you out of fear, hurt, and separation and back into the remembrance of unconditional love, helping you reconnect to your heart, your truth, and the deeper love that has always lived within you.
