  • This is a strictly limited capacity event

Pitch Yourself: Personal Branding for Creatives, is a workshop to help creatives overcome "the ick" in self-promotion, to get noticed, book the work they want, and get paid their worth. After this 45 minute workshop, you'll come away with:

  • More confidence putting yourself out there!
  • A better understanding of how to promote your work and yourself across different platforms
  • Content ideas to help you get started (what to say, how to say it, how to get noticed in the noise)
  • Tips for overcoming the "cringe factor"
  • Strategies for getting noticed by the clients you want
  • Some simple outreach / pitching tactics

About our Speaker

Emma Jamieson is a Freelance Communications & Content Strategy Director based in Edinburgh working with clients across Entertainment, Arts, and Hospitality - from contemporary dance companies to global hotel groups. She helps brands find the stories that will help them shine, then builds the strategies to get them out there and turn audiences into fans. Obsessed with how people discover things, how culture, social media, and fandom shape human behaviour, she loves helping stories travel across platforms, formats, and real-world spaces to create meaningful impact. She loves a good martini, getting to the cinema before the adverts start, and writing spicy romance in her spare time.

Feel free to connect with Emma on LinkedIn!
