Staff Pride Network Evening Social

Join us once a month at the Royal Dick Bar in Summerhall for a casual Friday evening with LGBT+ colleagues. Meet fellow staff, students, Staff Pride Network committee members, and now Napier staff and postgrads, for a chance to unwind at the end of the working week.

We get together from 5:30 PM until late: feel free to drop in for as long as you like.

This event is open to all LGBT+/ally staff and postgrad students at the University of Edinburgh and Napier University. Even if you're not a Staff Pride Network member (yet), you're very welcome to join us and find out what we're about. We hope you'll find that we're a welcoming crowd :)

We have a broad range of people attending of all ages, disabilities and social abilities, so please feel welcome. If you are nervous at all and would like to meet up with another SPN member first, just get in touch to let us know via our social channels or via email: [email protected].

If anyone attending has any access needs, please let us know and we will do everything we can to support.

We will be in the 'private dining room' to the right as you enter the bar. To get to the bar, simply walk straight through Summerhall from the main entrance, and into the courtyard (remembering to wave at the gorilla), where you will see 'The Royal Dick' straight ahead.

The main entrance to Summerhall has 9 stone steps with no railing. Step-free access is via the side entrance on Summerhall Square.

As you enter through the side entrance, The Royal Dick bar is situated to your right (with a ramp at the rear of the bar).
