Hosted by Dee Woolford with a light dinner provided!OurLegacy invites donor families to honor their loved one by decorating a Pinwheel of Hope and making a poster.
A pinwheel’s ability to capture and pass on energy with four sails parallels one’s potential to make LIFE possible as an organ, eye, and tissue donor. The pinwheels are 12 inches in diameter and have six mesh surfaces (approx. 5 in. x 2 ½ inches each).
Pinwheels of Hope will be displayed at our Donor Family Pinwheel Garden and Notes of Gratitude will be displayed along the track at the 15th annual GR8 to DON8 5k/8k Run for Organ Donation at Lyman High School.
Pinwheels and signs will be provided along with some additional supplies. We encourage you to bring items to personalize your pinwheel and sign including photos, fabric pieces and other memory making materials to honor your hero.
