Taste of Midwifery: A Birth and Baby Expo Volunteer

Volunteers help us create a smooth, welcoming experience for all. Whether you assist with setup, guest support, or cleanup, your time matters — and full-day volunteers receive a complimentary meal and tshirt as a thank-you.

Volunteers should live within driving distance of Maitland and be available for both virtual and in-person planning meetings. Every role helps our vision come to life, and your time and energy truly make a difference.

Please select the volunteer role(s) you’re most interested in supporting during Taste of Midwifery: A Birth and Baby Expo. Each position plays an important part in creating a smooth, welcoming, and memorable event experience.

• Set up | Arrive at Lake Lily Park at 7AM May 2nd 2026, assist with table assignments and sign placement
• Greeter station | Be available to answer questions, announce activities, give directions
• Games Attendant 9AM-11AM
• Games Attendant 11AM-1PM
• Soft Play Attendee 9AM-11AM
• Soft Play Attendee 11AM-1PM
• Parking attendants | Guide vendors and attendees to alternative lots from main parking area
• Vendor Relief | Check with vendors who don't have support at their tables and see if they need a break
• Tear down | Starts at 2p. Can include collecting signage, helping vendors or special guests take down table or tent,
