This Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, take steps for mum while raising awareness of breast cancer. Kick off Mother’s Day with a free, four-kilometre community walk in Mandurah’s beautiful outdoors, starting at George Robinson Gardens. Bring your friends and family and join a simple walk that can start powerful conversations around health and the importance of breast care.
With one in seven women and around one in 600 men diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, breast cancer touches so many lives in our community.
This Mother’s Day, take the steps to be breast aware, prioritise your health, start important conversations, and show your support to those affected by breast cancer. Walk in support, in memory, and to show you care – it’s the perfect way to celebrate mums and the wonderful women in your life.
Plus enjoy a free barbecue breakfast cooked by the Mandurah Lions Club and visit a local business to grab a coffee to kick start your day. Let’s walk with purpose together.
