Pine Straw 101 Workshop and Field Tour
About this Event
The morning sessions will focus on developing longleaf pine woodlands into productive pine straw stands while maintaining habitat diversity and forest health. Following lunch, a field tour of Indian Springs Tree Farm, winner of the 2025 SC Tree Farmer of the Year Award, will showcase pine straw management practices.
Approved: 4.5 hours Category 1 CFE credits
Approved: 2.0 hours SC CORE CCH credits (included in general registration)
Approved: 3.0 hours Category 21 and 1 hour Private Applicator GA pesticide recertification credits
The registration fee includes a morning break and lunch. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the field tour location.
