Time to sing!
Join instructors Rob Lewin & Karen Derrah for a 4 week immersion into the world of musical improv. Learn the basics of song structure, phrasing and musicality, and then apply it to your shortform and longform improv. By the end of the series you'll be ready to take your shower voice to the stage!
No musical experience necessary.

Location:
This workshop will take place at 165 King St W, Kitchener. This is the same building as Libro Credit Union downtown. The studio is in the basement and your instructors will meet you at the street entrance to head down together. Make sure you go to King St West, not East!

About the instructors:
Rob Lewin is an improviser and sketch comedian living in Guelph. He is an alumnus of the Bad Dog Featured Players, Second City FamCo, and a founding member of the Making-Box Brigade. Catch him with his group Comedy Sketch Town performing in their sometimes-monthly show The Sketch Comedy Snowball.
Karen Derrah is a piano teacher who loves to improvise - both on the stage and on the keys. She has been playing piano almost her whole life, and started performance improv at The Making Box in Guelph in 2018. You can find her on Facebook at Karen Derrah's Piano Studio.
