All are welcome on Tuesday, October 6, for an exclusive tour of the Pima Community College Advanced Manufacturing Building. Join us for this special Archtoberfest event, led by architects from DLR Group, and get an inside look at this innovative project.
Pima Community College’s mission to deliver workforce-responsive education opportunities led to the creation of the Center of Excellence for Applied Technology at its Downtown Tucson campus. The new Advanced Manufacturing Building, the centerpiece of the transformation. Conceived as a working model of 21st-century industry, the three-story, 95,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Building integrates programs in Welding, Machining, Automated Industrial Technology, CAD Design, and Robotics.
The tour will begin promptly at 5:30PM. Attendees will receive 1.0 HSW LU from AIA.
Please RSVP in advance, as space is limited. This event is $10 for all AIA members (Architects, Associates and Allied). Non-members can attend for $25.
