About this Event
Come to Fly. Come to Learn. Come to Be Part of the Largest Flite Fest Ever.
Flite Fest 2026 is heading to Dayton, Ohio, for the largest collaboration in Flite Test history, hosted at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in partnership with the DARPA Lift Challenge.
Whether you’re a seasoned RC pilot or have never touched the sticks before, Flite Fest is built for YOU. Anyone can learn to fly at Flite Fest. From trainers and community mentors to open flying and unforgettable experiences, this is the place where aviation enthusiasts of all skill levels come together.
🚨 Important:
To fly at the main Flite Fest flying area, all pilots must have a Pilot Pass lanyard visible at all times.
Pilots under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
This year also marks the first-ever Flite Fest held alongside the DARPA Lift Challenge, a groundbreaking $6.5 million heavy-lift drone competition, pushing the limits of UAV design, aerospace engineering, and vertical-lift innovation.
And while you're there, enjoy FREE daily admission (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) to the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum, featuring more than 360 aircraft across 19 acres of indoor exhibit space at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
