To fly at the main Flite Fest flying area, all pilots must have a Pilot Pass lanyard visible at all times.
This year also marks the first-ever Flite Fest held alongside the DARPA Lift Challenge, a groundbreaking $6.5 million heavy-lift drone competition, pushing the limits of UAV design, aerospace engineering, and vertical-lift innovation.
And while you're there, enjoy FREE daily admission (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) to the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum, featuring more than 360 aircraft across 19 acres of indoor exhibit space at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
