Join us on Friday 26 June for a special pilgrimage to St Mary's Cathedral, including a visit to the Sistine Chapel Exhibition (in the forecourt of the Cathedral).
Parents, carers, parishioners and friends of St Michael’s Meadowbank are warmly invited to come along for a meaningful morning together.
🕊️ Plan for the day
8:30am – Meet at St Michael’s Meadowbank
Train from Meadowbank station into the city (Town Hall)
Walk together on pilgrimage to St Mary’s Cathedral (with a coffee stop ☕)
Time for prayer in the Cathedral
Visit the Sistine Chapel Exhibition- created with the express permission of the Vatican museum , bringing the art of the Sistine chapel to Sydney in a purpose built structure that evokes the scale, atmosphere and splendour of the original chapel.
Lunch in the city (BYO or buy)
~1:30pm – Return to school
💰 Cost
$50 per person (plus booking fees), public transport costs and lunch
We’ve given plenty of notice so you can plan ahead. We realise this is more expensive than the events we normally organise for parents and carers but this is a really special experience and definitely cheaper than travelling to the Vatican 😀.
