Pilates Reformer Basics

Are you looking to achieve core stability and good posture? Or increase your flexibility while building strength? In this program, led by Veronica Coral, an expert instructor at Crosby Wellness Center, you’ll learn the ins-and-outs of the Pilates reformer, a training machine that creates resistance to work every muscle in your body. Recent research has shown that regular reformer exercises offer greater shoulder and lower back strength, plus a decreased chance of falling in people over 65. The reformer is also versatile enough for a full-body workout in less than an hour, while helping you to build the stretch, stamina, and stability of a healthy, strong body.  

Veronica will also discuss additional benefits of adding the Pilates reformer into your regular workout routine and will answer any questions you have about its use and impact. 

Program notes: This program will be limited to 15-20 people and will allow each participant to spend a few minutes on the reformer.

About the Presenter 
Veronica Coral has been a Group Exercise Instructor for the past 10 years. She currently holds her certification through the American Council of Exercise, but also several other specialty formats such as Pop Pilates, Schwinn cycling, and PiYo Live, to name a few. She enjoys teaching varying age groups and believes in making exercise fun for everyone!
