The rhythm takes over Downtown Pittsburgh as the 16th edition of the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival returns to Liberty Avenue for a free weekend-long celebration of music, culture, food, and community. Following Friday night’s Kickoff Concert and Taste of Jazz celebration at August Wilson African American Cultural Center, the energy spills into the streets Saturday and Sunday with free live performances, immersive cultural experiences, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and unforgettable moments around every corner.
From jazz legends and rising stars to global sounds and hometown favorites, the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival transforms the Cultural District into a vibrant destination where music lovers come together to celebrate the sound of our America 250. Come experience the rhythm, creativity, and electric atmosphere that make PIJF one of the nation’s premier jazz festivals.
Free and open to the public with paid VIP upgrades available.
