This week at Minnehaha Park we are hosting Pig's Eye Jass Band, a jazz group. The Pig's Eye Jass Band plays traditional jazz from the 1890's to the 1930's. This music is America's original art form, born in New Orleans and will get your feet moving! People of all ages enjoy listening and dancing to the driving beat and inspiring vocals and solos. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
