Music for Wellness Class

Dates: 2nd Tuesday of each month

Where: Struthers Golden Valley in the Education Room

Cost: $10 per person (paid at front desk upon arrival)

Class Description: The Music for Wellness Class uses music to strengthen physical, vocal, cognitive, and mental health within a small, in-person, group setting. A variety of music interventions are used and may include seated movement to the music, playing percussion instruments in traditional and non-traditional ways, vocalizing and singing, relaxing with music, and listening intentionally to music. No previous music training or experience needed. This class is designed for individuals with Parkinson's Disease and related movement disorders. Care partners are welcome.
