Picnic With Purpose
About this Event
This summer, as the UK embraces picnic season, Picnic With Purpose brings together a collective of impact-led food and drink brands, charities, media, buyers and advocates for an afternoon centred around conscious consumer choice and social impact.
Ahead of World Against Trafficking Day (30th July), the event aims to spotlight the role business can play in tackling human trafficking and modern slavery in the UK, and how everyday purchasing decisions can help support positive change.
The afternoon will feature a curated picnic experience with food and drink from brands including Holos Kombucha, Urban Rajah, Tribe, Manumit Coffee Roasters, Just Ice and Bramber Bakehouse, alongside conversations and storytelling from founders and frontline charity partners.
Attendees can expect:
– A thoughtfully curated picnic with purpose-led food & drink brands
– Meaningful conversations with founders, buyers, media and advocates
– Insights and real stories from organisations working within the anti-slavery sector
– Opportunities to connect across retail, hospitality, impact and culture
– A relaxed but intentional atmosphere designed to inspire collaboration and awareness
Charity partners include Ella’s, Justice & Care, the Sophie Hayes Foundation and Orchards.
This isn't a typical event - it's about creating a moment that feels culturally relevant, commercially meaningful, and rooted in real impact.
The event will be generously hosted by Criterion Hospitality at Miradora Rooftop.
From intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations, Criterion create memorable experiences across two rooftop venues in Leicester Square. Whether you’re hosting a corporate networking event, product launch, private dinner, or celebratory occasion, every detail is flawlessly executed with exceptional service and iconic London views.
