PHX KIDS: Thomas Mosaics

Time for a fun and colorful playdate! Get the kids together to make paper mosaics and learn all about the iconic artist Alma Thomas !

Alma Thomas was an African-American artist and teacher best known for the "exuberant", colorful, abstract paintings that she created after her retirement from a 35-year career teaching art.

Our talented art instructor will help the kids learn how to cut shapes, support their big ideas, and give them the tools to make really cool and unique paper mosaics!

***Kids 5 & Under must have a parent/guardian present with them during the event. Parents, you're welcome and encouraged to purchase a ticket to create too!

Ticket includes all art materials needed, lots of encouragement and support, and step-by-step instructions from one of our talented artists
