The Carbondale Warming Center is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year on February 22nd, 2025. The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for the Carbondale Warming Center and to raise awareness of unhoused people experiencing hurt and hunger on what is often measured as the coldest night of the year.By walking in the cold, you'll feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing food and housing insecurities during winter. By fundraising, you'll be contributing much-needed money to the Carbondale Warming Center to bring help and hope to people in our community who need support. This is our 3rd annual walk and we have a goal to raise $100,000 to provide our unhoused neighbors with shelter, food, clothing, case management, referrals, and most importantly humanity, dignity and empathy.
