This 4-hour Get to Know Your Camera workshop is designed to take the mystery out of photography and help you feel comfortable, confident, and in control of your camera in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Rather than overwhelming you with technical details, we focus on what actually matters—understanding just a few key settings and how they work together to create beautiful images.
Whether you’re using a DSLR or mirrorless camera, this session will help you move beyond “auto mode” and start making intentional, creative choices.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the essentials:
• How aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together
• How to get sharp, well-exposed photos consistently
• How to use natural light effectively
• How to create soft backgrounds and flattering portraits
• When and why to adjust your settings
• How to approach a photography outing
