Photographing your Artwork- TRUCK Gallery Calgary
About this Event
Bring your artwork and camera and learn how to document your artwork. From using a professional set up to task lights and your camera this workshop will go over how to take the best photographs of your artwork, whether it be 2 or 3 dimensional. Learn how to set up lighting, use F stops and set up the best background for your work. This workshop is in partnership with TRUCK Gallery.
Brady Fullerton is a multidisciplinary artist and academic exploring themes of alienation and belonging through our everyday relationships with natural and built environments. His artistic practice is committed to the democratic and accessible ideals of photography.
Fullerton's artistic work has been exhibited in group and solo shows, including through the Alberta Society of Artists, The New Gallery, Toronto Metropolitan University, the Exposure Photography Festival, Alberta Views Magazine, and The Calgary Herald. His work has also been generously funded by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Calgary Arts Development.
Currently, Fullerton serves on the boards of the Exposure Photography Festival and TRUCK Contemporary Art, and is working on several projects, including Nowhere, a photographic exploration of trauma and memory in his hometown of Drumheller, Alberta.
