Photographing Birds at Monroe Lake at 11:15 a.m.

· Registration available through February 5.*

· Free, but limited to 40 people (recommended for ages 12 and up).

· Paynetown State Recreation Area: Service Area (across from Deer Run Shelter)

* Walk-up attendees welcomed on a first-come first-served basis for any OPEN seats.

Monroe Lake is a destination for both birders and bird photographers! During a 60-min presentation, Dan Williamson will share some of the beautiful bird photos that he’s taken at the reservoir, along with tips on good photography locations, advice on where to go to photograph specific birds, and some best practices for photographing birds in an ethical manner (minimizing disturbance).
