His online classes, books, and international photo tours have reached millions worldwide. A lifelong photographer who began shooting at age 10, John has explored all seven continents through his camera and continues to share his expertise from his home in Washington State, where he’s often found exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Michelle.

Now in its 17th year, PhotoFest continues to exceed our wildest expectations. The three-day event includes a broad spectrum of on-location shoots, studio settings, photowalks, lectures, and product demonstrations. It gives a larger purpose to reconnect not only to our art, but to each other. Image-making and visual storytelling capture moments that are fleeting, but the relationships we build along the way endure.
