🎨 Rat City Art Walk Returns This Thursday in White Center!
Join us Thursday from 5 to 8 PM for the return of the Rat City Art Walk, featuring 60+ local artists and an evening full of art, music, food, and community fun.
Held every third Thursday from April through September, this free event invites everyone to explore White Center while supporting local artists and small businesses.
Wander through the neighborhood and discover artists, pop ups, and special experiences hosted inside local businesses. Keep an eye out for the signature inflatable rat outside participating locations to help guide your way.
🎨 May highlights include:
• 60+ local artists showcased across 26 locations
•The official activation of new neighborhood lighting improvements funded through King County’s Participatory Budgeting Program Community walking tour starts at 7:30 PM outside Tim's Tavern with the lighting activation at 8:00 PM.
• NMDP booth near Tim’s Tavern to learn about stem cell donation and join the registry with a quick cheek swab During AANHPI Heritage Month, help support donor diversity in one of Seattle’s most diverse neighborhoods.
• Social Justice Art Show with art from 30 artists at Nepantla Cultural Arts Gallery
• Rock painting with Community School of West Seattle
• Learn and play mahjong at Patrick’s Café & Bakery
• Live music at Tim’s Tavern featuring The Dusty 45s No cover. All ages. 6 to 9 PM
• New 2026 Art Walk Passport: fill it out for a chance to win prizes
🎨 Food and drink specials around the neighborhood
• Patrick's Bakery and Cafe – Early Bird Specials 10% off full menu + BOGO Scones
• Salvadorean Bakery – Free quesadilla or empanada with a $20 purchase

When Art Walk wraps at 8 PM, head over to 2 Fingers Social for Night Walk, a late night gathering for artists and night owls featuring live art, vendors, a live DJ, plus food and drink specials.
Come hang out, support local businesses and artists, and experience what makes White Center special.
