About this Event
Step out of the noise and into the quiet heart of winter. This intimate, phone-free weekend retreat at Fox Haven Farm is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with the land, and restore your nervous system through shared meals, gentle movement, creative practice, and seasonal attunement.
Held during the deep winter pause, this retreat centers rest, reflection, and community. Together we’ll walk the land, sit in stillness, journal by the fire, craft with our hands, and prepare nourishing meals. By setting our phones aside, we create space for deeper presence—with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.

What is Wassailing?
Wassailing is an age-old custom where we gather to sing to the trees, offer blessings, and ensure a bountiful harvest in the coming year. It’s a joyful way to celebrate the season and honor the orchard.
After our work, we’ll share warm cider and seasonal snacks. Feel free to bring a dish if you wish!
This portion of the event is open to the public. Feel free to invite your family and friends to participate. We'll have kids' activities and orchard tasks for all ages. To end the day with some extra cheer, we’ll bang on pots and pans—an age-old tradition to wake up the trees and invite a prosperous season. Kids will especially love this lively part of the celebration!
This retreat is best suited for adults seeking rest, reflection, and gentle connection—no prior experience with meditation, journaling, or land-based practices required.
Pricing (tiered)
To make this first offering more accessible while covering food and staff time, we’re using tiered pricing. All tiers include lodging, meals, facilitation, and materials.
