We are excited to welcome Philippa Malicka, Sarah Hornsley, and Rebecca Hardy for an evening discussion about their newest Crime novels.
Philippa Malicka is a graduate of the Fiction MA at the University of East Anglia and has worked as a journalist before writing her debut novel, In Her Defence, which promises readers an unputdownable mix of courtroom drama, psychological thriller, and love story.
Sarah Hornsley started her career in publishing before releasing her debut novel, Bad Blood, in 2025. Her second novel, One Dark Summer, is a thrilling summer read filled with pain, betrayal, and secrets that are somehow closer than we might've realised.
Rebecca Hardy was an English teacher for almost 20 years before taking a break to persue her love of writing, releasing her debut historical romance novel, The House of Lost Wives, in 2022. She now tackles the crime genre with The Summer We Lied, a stong and character-driven thriller that will make you question what justice and retribution look like.
