Philadelphia Freedom is the quintessential tribute band to Sir Elton John. Formed in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2019, the band has performed hundreds of shows at theatres, festivals, and concert series across the country. Philadelphia Freedom brings a youthful and exceptionally energetic portrayal of Elton and his legendary band. Doug Delescavage is Elton John as he was in his 20s. With his awe-inspiring piano abilities, captivating voice, and inventive fashion sense, Doug and his top-notch band rival no one but Mr. Captain Fantastic himself. Performing hits such as Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, I’m Still Standing, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, Bennie and The Jets, and of course, Philadelphia Freedom, fans are sure to be transported back to some of the greatest hits and eras of Elton’s music.
