First responders across Wisconsin experience high levels of cumulative occupational stress and trauma exposure. While awareness of mental health challenges has increased, many firefighters, EMS professionals, and law‑enforcement officers still lack accessible, culturally competent education that integrates clinical best practices with peer‑informed, practical tools. The Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation’s First Responder Wellness Conference brings together nationally and regionally recognized clinicians, peer‑support leaders, and wellness professionals in a setting designed specifically for first responders. The conference is an eight‑hour structured program combining instruction, interactive discussion, and applied skill‑building designed to bring together first responders (fire, EMS, and law enforcement), Employee Assistance Program (EAP) practitioners, chaplains, and health care professionals in an interactive, collaborative setting. Spouses and family members are welcome to attend.
