Pet Portraits: A Watercolor Workshop

Come hang out with us at Southern Heights for an afternoon of painting, pets, and Celebrating Barks for Beer!

At this Paint Your Pet watercolor workshop, you’ll get to paint a custom portrait of your furry (or feathered, or scaly!) best friend. All you need to do is email me a clear photo of your pet after you sign up, and I’ll hand-draw their portrait ahead of time so it’s ready to go when you arrive.

No painting experience? No problem! I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, and everything you need will be provided.

Your $35 ticket includes:

-A hand-drawn portrait of your pet on 8.5" x 11" watercolor paper

-All painting materials (watercolors, brushes, etc.)

-2 hours of step-by-step instruction in a fun welcoming environment

After purchasing your ticket, please email a clear, well-lit photo of your pet’s face to . This is the photo you will be painting during the class.

To ensure the best results, please follow these guidelines:

• Submit a high-quality, well-lit photo, preferably taken in natural light
• Your pet’s face and neck should be fully visible
• A forward-facing (looking at the camera) works best
• One pet per ticket/photo
• If you’d like to include more than one pet in the same portrait, there is an additional $10 charge per pet — please email with any questions
