**Pet Portrait Workshop (2 Weeks)**
Turn your favorite furry friend into a beautiful watercolor portrait in this two-week workshop designed specifically for pet lovers.
Using your own pet photo as a reference, you'll learn how to build a realistic watercolor portrait step-by-step. No drawing experience is required—we'll trace the image so you can focus entirely on painting techniques, color, value, texture, and bringing your pet's personality to life.
**Week 1:**
We'll focus on the foundation of the painting, including fur, color, values, and all of the base layers. Fair warning: at the end of the first class, most portraits look more like colorful blobs than beloved pets! This is completely normal and an important part of the process. Learning to trust the process is one of the most valuable skills you'll gain as an artist.
**Week 2:**
We'll bring everything together by focusing on the eyes, details, texture, contrast, and finishing touches that transform those early layers into a realistic portrait full of life and personality.
**Photo Requirements**
* One pet only
* Headshot/close-up portrait
* Natural lighting preferred
* Please email your photo immediately after registering
* If you're unsure which photo will work best, feel free to send several options and I'll help you choose
**Workshop Details**
* Held at Tina Williams Art Studio in Portsmouth, NH
* All supplies included unless otherwise noted
* Suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike
* Ages 12+ (students under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
**Registration Policy**
Due to the custom preparation required for each student, all registrations are final. No refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up classes will be provided for missed sessions.
