On the public health threat of biodiversity loss and climate change and… the enormous benefits of bold action now!
About this Event

Join us for the inaugural UCD screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing – an eye-opening 50-minute documentary on the serious threats to society from climate change and nature loss, but also the enormous benefits of bold action.

In the screening, you’ll hear from leading UK scientists and experts, with contributions from a range of public personalities, and the voices of ordinary UK citizens from all walks of life.

Professor Akke Vellinga from the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science will facilitate a discussion after the screening.

The discussion is informal, interactive and invites attendees to engage with the evidence, reflect on its implications, and explore how communities can respond to the crisis.

Everyone is welcome! Tickets are free, but seats are limited, so please book a spot early.

Screenings will take place at the same time in HEIs across the HEA Healthy Campus network.

This event is part of the One Health Festival - an initiative of the All Ireland One Health Collaborative Network.
