Workplace conflict is inevitable, common, and takes many forms. Left unmanaged, it can cause relationships, teams, and systems to break down, with significant negative consequences for your workplace environment.
This one-day workshop equips you with a proven communication tool for managing conflict with colleagues, giving you the confidence to step in when a problem needs dedicated attention rather than being left to fester.

The course is delivered in three parts:
Part 1: Necessary Knowledge — a new way of thinking about conflict
- The nature of interpersonal conflict
- The essential process of the SCC method
- An alternative approach to conflict
Part 2: Successful Conflict Conversations (SCC) — a practical communication tool
- The SCC process
- Video demonstrations of SCC
- Creating issue statements
- Video analysis and role play
- Practical implementation
Part 3: Certification — award of course certificates
What to expect
This is a highly interactive workshop, drawing on video, two comprehensive workbooks, resource materials, and shared experience of managing dysfunctional behaviours in the workplace. Expect role plays, guided reflection, and group discussion throughout the day.

- A practical communication tool for resolving workplace conflict
- Greater self-awareness of personal triggers and responses, and how to manage them
- The confidence and skills to intervene early and decisively when conflict arises
- A certificate accredited by the Mediation Training Institute of Eckerd College, Florida — recognised as part of the syllabus for training Workplace Mediators
