About the venue: A cocktail bar and restaurant just off Harcourt Street, rated 4.6 from over 400 reviews — the highest-rated venue in this tranche — and mid-priced. Open from midday to 11:30pm midweek, so a 7pm start has plenty of runway. Reviews single out the service and the courtyard seating, and it also operates as an event venue, which suggests it is used to hosting groups.
Getting there: St Stephen's Green is the closest Luas stop at about five minutes' walk, which puts the venue on the Green Line and a short walk from Grafton Street. O'Connell–GPO on the same line is eighteen minutes if you are coming from the north side. Two multi-storey car parks sit on Drury Street, seven and nine minutes away; the larger one closes at 11pm midweek, so check the time before you leave the car there for a long evening.
