PEO Chatham-Kent Chapter: Engineering Competitions.About this Event
The Chatham-Kent PEO is hosting an inpromtu design challenge, in honour of National Engineering Month this March. Details are as follows...
- Teams of up to 4 students will compete to design the best prototype to complete the assigned task.
- There will be both a junior ( grades 6-8) and senior (grades 9-12) challenge.
- All students will arrive at the stated sign-in times, then they will be given materials as well as a project description.
- Junior and senior students will complete their prototypes during the specified times, which will then be tested and judged.
- Prizes for top 3 contenders will be awarded, along with chances to win raffle prizes
- No prior experience or preparation is required!

Sr Competition
🕑: 09:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Sr Competition (GR 9-12)
Info: Sign in for the senior competition will begin at 9:00 AM and the competition will run from 9:30-12:30.
Jr Competition
🕑: 09:15 AM - 11:45 AM
Jr Competition (GR 6-8)
Info: Sign in for the junior competition will begin at 9:15 AM and the competition will run from 9:45-11:45.
