The iSightCornwall team will be in Penzance as part of Optelec’s VisionZone Penzance at St John’s Hall.Various members of the team will be in attendance to answer all your questions and queries regarding sight loss and the services currently available to visually impaired people in Cornwall.
We will also be demonstrating a number of assistive technology gadgets and devices designed specifically for visually impaired people, if there is a specific gadget or device that you would like us to bring to the event, please call us in advance on 01872 261110.
Getting to St John’s Hall
St John’s Hall is located on Alverton Street and is convenient for all public transport. It is on the bus route with several bus stops close by. Penzance railway station is a 10 minute walk away.
Parking
The nearest car park is Penalverne car park, which is located right next to St John’s Hall.
Other options nearby are Clarence Street car park (3 minute walk) and Wellfields car park (4 minute walk).
Accessibility
Disabled access is located through the main entrance on the ground floor which has automatic doors. An accessibility lift will then bring you to the correct floor. The venue is accessible for wheelchair users
