All of the libraries throughout San Mateo County are taking part in a super team-up!
Peninsula Libraries Comic Arts Fest is returning in April 2025! We’re celebrating the importance of comics as literature in a visual art form and enabling aspiring artists and readers of all ages through a month of author visits, workshops, and comics-related programs.
The Small Press Comics Expo at the South San Francisco Library is a free one-day event bringing you the excitement of a comic con exhibit hall with local creators and special guests Judd Winick (HiLo), East Bay Cartoonist of Color: (Hella Com!x), David Pepose (Moon Knight), and Julia Wertz (Impossible People).
Visit dozens of tabling artists, purchase comics directly from creators, participate in hands-on craft activities and listen to inspirational talks with our keynote artists!
