Bright Horizons Invites Families to Celebrate NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child with Artsy Thursday

To celebrate the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child 2nd Generation at Allerton and several other local Bright Horizons San Francisco centers are hosting Artsy Thursday on April 10 – a fun-filled family event where children and parents are invited to tap into their inner artist with a variety of hands-on activities. Who: All families are welcome to attend.  

What: NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child (April 5-11 2025) marks a week to celebrate early learning young children their teachers families and communities. In celebration Bright Horizons’ Artsy Thursday will allow children and parents to visit a series of stations where they can engage with various art experiences. 

Why: Art is a wonderful way for children to express themselves. Young artists can explore create gain confidence and feel a sense of competency when they create something based on their own ideas and efforts. Plus this event serves as a great bonding opportunity for parents and children.
