Shauna will be your Host - Meet her along the north end of the Pelmewash Parkway, at the site of the northern-most Syilx Indigenous Sculpture "Feather" (a 14' two-sided metal and wood sculpture symbolizing unity, balance, and the enduring presence of the Syilx people). This sketching meetup takes place along Wood Lake's north-west shoreline where the Pelmewash Parkway intersects with Irvine Road (that heads west) and Oyama Road (that heads east).
Sketchers will have lake views, and lots of public beach to find a nice spot to sit and enjoy the view.
There are several pull-out parking areas along Pelmewash Parkway as you travel north from Kelowna, and there are parking lots along Oyama Road too.
Bring your sketching supplies, and a seat, to enjoy some classic Okanagan views of water and hills and nature's best.
