The stage premiere of my upcoming new music concept album/ weird rock song-cycle thing!Weaving together artists’ experiences of personality disorders—Janis Joplin’s feelings of isolation in fame, Sylvia Plath’s bipolar disorder—with musical samples, a rock band, strings, and saxophone.
Some really amazing musicians are helping me in the process of being more honest artistically, and allowing myself to lean into some 80s rock nostalgia and Daft Punk/Bjork/Brian Eno-esque sides of my composing!
