About this Event
We are the Palliative Care Aotearoa Research Network (PCARN), a national group of multidisciplinary clinicians, researchers and academics.
Our vision is to promote a culture of clinical research and enquiry across palliative care services in Aotearoa and to support new and existing clinical research in palliative care.
We have an exciting programme of speakers including
Dr Sunia Foliaki, Massey University senior research fellow
Professor Sin茅ad Donelly, University of Otago Professor and Physician
Mr Daniel Bagley, Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley Physiotherapist and Improvement and Innovation
Dr Lana Ferguson, Hospice Waikato Medical Director and Palliative Medicine Physician
Professor Richard Egan, Associate Professor Otago University and co-director of the social and behavioural reserach unit.
Dr Richard McNeill, Palliative Medicine Doctor
Refreshments will be provided.
The hui will contribute to CME hours and certificates will be provided.
The hui coincides with the Hospice New Zealand conference held in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington on 4-5 November.
