Regenerative farming aims to nourish and replenish the land naturally. We have an eco-system view of gardening, prioritising soil health for planetary health, for plant and people health. In this introductory workshop we’ll explore some regenerative practices we follow at Kaicycle and how you could implement these on the whenua you garden and kaitiaki. This is a koha workshop and we ask you to pay what you can afford. If that’s a gold coin that is completely fine! If you can afford more we really appreciate it - we are a charity and rely on donations to be able to carry out our mahi. Koha can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
This workshop is part of our monthly Community Open Day, which happens on the first Saturday of every month in Spring, Summer, and Autumn! Each month our open day includes a working bee, farm tour, koha workshop, and a table with a range of produce, compost, and seedlings for sale. Come along for as much or as little of the day as you would like and keep an eye out for additional community day activities such as yoga, arts and crafts, and music in the māra.
