Explore galleries featuring European masterpieces, modern and contemporary works, ancient artifacts, and stunning Asian art. Don’t miss the museum’s sweeping views of the city from the top of the famous “Rocky Steps”!

Before heading to the museum, we’ll stop by Reading Terminal Market, a beloved Philly landmark and foodie haven. Sample local specialties like Amish soft pretzels, roast pork sandwiches, or fresh baked goods — or browse for unique regional treats to take home.

We’ll also have a little time to wander through Philadelphia’s vibrant Chinatown, just a few blocks from the market. Grab a bubble tea, check out the colorful Friendship Gate, or browse the shops for snacks and souvenirs.

Itinerary (times are approximate):

9:00 AM: Depart from Hudson Yards. I booked the bus that arrives at 10:30 AM
10:30 AM: Arrive in Philadelphia (Spring Garden Station)
11:00 PM: Stop by Reading Terminal Market for shopping & lunch
1:30 PM – 4:15 PM: Visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Pay What You Wish admission)
5:00 PM: grab a bite at N 4th street and Spring Garden Street(https://maps.app.goo.gl/65K9HgxPd5C1Gzzn9) (multiple options)
6:00 PM: Depart Philadelphia via OurBus to return to NYC

💡 Tips:

You must purchase your own tickets for transportation and the museum. At the time I created this event bus tickets were $13 o/w.
Museum admission is “pay what you wish,” so you can contribute any amount.
Bring comfortable shoes for walking. If it rains, we take a bus or Lyft.
If we need, the 32 Bus(https://www.septa.org/schedules/32?directionId=1&date=2025-12-07) begins at Juniper and Commerce and drops off at Fairmont and Pennsylvania Aves. Travel time \~25 minutes.
Returning from PMoA, the 43 bus heads back via Spring Garden Road(https://www.septa.org/schedules/43?directionId=1&date=2025-12-07)
Reading Terminal Market accepts cards and cash.
