This is a specially priced event to raise money for Paws for Prevention *DON'T WAIT - TICKETS SELL OUT FAST! Join our Mini Paint Your Pet class on 8x10 canvases! Registration for this event ends 03/23/26! After registering, please email us a headshot of your pet to [email protected]. If pictures are not received by the deadline, you will not have a canvas - so this is very important!
Sign up, Show up, Sip up, PAINT! No artistic talent needed, just the desire to have fun! We take the time to guide you step by step to complete your very own take home masterpiece. All canvases are lightly pre-sketched. If you would prefer a blank canvas, please indicate so in the Order Comments section at checkout. If meeting a friend(s) please list the name(s) of attendee(s) in the Order Comments section so we can seat you together. Please arrive 20 minutes early to settle in and get a drink! We offer an array of wine, beer, cocktails and mocktails. We also offer small bites such as chips, popcorn & sweets. No outside beverages are allowed. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WINE AND OTHER BEVERAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE. We recommend that reservations and payment be made prior to class in order to secure your seat. You may pop-in and pay upon arrival, but we cannot guarantee you a seat unless you reserve your seat ahead. WE ARE LOCATED IN THE GARVER POINT BUILDING ON S. FAIR OAKS AVENUE TO THE LEFT OF THE LOBBY ENTRANCE. Our shopping center can get busy so please allow yourself enough time to find parking and arrive 20 minutes early to settle in and get a drink! On-site parking can be found on either side of the building. Pay close attention to signs, only the spots on the sides of the building are for customers. The rear spots are for residents of the Garver Point apartment complex only. Free parking is also available on the street, just be sure to read signs so you don't park illegally. Whether it’s a wagging tail, a soft purr, or simply the comfort of having a loyal companion nearby, pets can provide joy, grounding, and emotional support—important elements of mental well-being. Paws for Prevention is our way of honoring that bond. Each year, AFSP chapters across the country celebrate the pets who bring comfort, connection, and healing to individuals and families in their communities in various ways. Our chapter proudly hosts an annual Pet Calendar Contest, showcasing beloved pets from across our state. Participants submit photos of their furry, feathered, or scaly friends, and the community votes to help create a calendar filled with the animals who brighten our lives. Beyond the fun and creativity, the calendar helps raise awareness—and critical funds—to support AFSP’s mission of saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. Together, with the unconditional love of our pets, we continue our work toward a world without suicide.
