The Journey to Home: A Culinary Story of Rescue, Freedom & Second Chances
Info: The Welcome Gathering
Opening the evening and beginning the journey
Guests arrive, gather a drink from the Watering Bowl Bar, and settle in as we open the evening with gratitude and the story behind Paws & Plates.
During this time:
• Welcome from Angela McCrovitz – Table & Thyme
• Recognition of community sponsors and partners
• A brief reflection on the journey of animals who travel from hardship to safety, love, and home
• Introduction to the evening’s culinary experience
This moment sets the tone for the night and honors the people helping create second chances for animals in our community.
🕑: 06:30 PM - 07:15 PM
The Harbor of Second Chances
Info: After wandering roads and alleyways, our traveling pack finds the sea — a place where weary paws are welcomed and strangers become friends.
Here along the harbor, fishermen and kindhearted souls share the ocean’s treasures, reminding us that every creature deserves a warm meal, safety, and the promise of tomorrow.
Guests will enjoy signature lobster rolls inspired by beloved dogs and cats — including The Golden Retriever, The Alley Cat, and The Maine Coon — served with fresh coastal accompaniments.
This station celebrates the moment when hardship gives way to kindness and the journey toward home truly begins.
🕑: 07:15 PM - 08:00 PM
The Meadow of Freedom
