About this Event

Spring is here, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: with dogs, drinks, and cherry blossoms.

Join us for Paws & Petals Yappy Hour with the National Cherry Blossom Festival, a feel-good evening designed for dog lovers, new friends, and anyone looking to soak in the season. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere where you can mingle, sip something refreshing, and enjoy the peak bloom vibes.

We’re partnering with , who will be on-site sharing pet care tips and keeping things paws-itively healthy, plus , who will be bringing adorable, adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes.

Come for the blossoms, stay for the connections:

  • Meet adoptable dogs (and maybe your new best friend)
  • Connect with fellow dog lovers and neighbors
  • Enjoy drinks and springtime vibes in a cherry blossom setting
  • Learn more about pet care and adoption resources

Whether you’ve got a pup, want one, or just want to hang around some very good dogs, this is your kind of happy hour.

Bring your friends. Bring your dog. Leave with a fuller heart.

(CDCK) is a nonprofit organization that rescues animals in overcrowded, under-resourced shelters. We are often the last hope for animals, many of whom would otherwise not be rescued due to injuries or other medical problems.

We rely exclusively on donations to provide critical veterinary care and on passionate volunteers to provide foster homes and operational support. We find loving adoptive homes for dogs and cats in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, thereby enriching the lives of both humans and animals.
