Paws and A Cause

Come join us at Pioneer Park for a pawsitively awesome event! Bring your furry friends along for an afternoon filled with fun activities, games, auctions, and more. All friendly dogs with human pals are welcome - if they enjoy being around other dogs and people, are non-aggressive, well socialized, respond to commands, and are current with rabies and other immunizations.

Let's celebrate our love for animals and raise support for local youth and community causes. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to make new friends, both furry and human! Mark your calendars and get ready for a tail-wagging good time at Paws and A Cause!

$20 registration fee covers

• entry for 1 dog and up to 4 human pals.
• Your dog will receive a bandana to be worn around his/her neck or leash.
• Each dog must be individually registered to be in the event space.
• Dog's pals will be hand stamped.

$5 registration fee covers

• entry for each unaccompanied human who comes to enjoy the event without a dog.

With your registration you are confirming that
Your dog(s):

• is non-aggressive, well-socialized, enjoys being around other people or dogs, and responds immediately to commands.
• is current on rabies vaccinations. Flea/Tick treatment, Kennel Cough immunization are recommended.​
• will be kept on a 6 ft. or shorter leash at all times.
  For safety's sake, please, no retractable leashes.

I, as the dog owner, am fully responsible for the actions of my dog(s) if it causes any damage whatsoever, including, but not limited to, death, damage or injury to itself, or death, damage or injury to other animals, pets, people and property while at this event.

And, I will be courteous, responsible, and clean up after my dog(s). Bags will be available.

What to bring:

• Registration confirmation or phone with EventBrite app if registered.
• Dogs on a non-retractable leash.
• Lawn chairs and/or blankets to relax and watch events.
• Refillable water bottles.
• Water will be provided for both dogs and people. Even if you are not thirsty, be sure to give your dog plenty of access to the provided water.
• Cash, check, or credit card for food, merchandise, additional games and other goodies.

Food and Drinks will be available for purchase including:

• Slydogs Hot Dogs
• Cocos Candy and Creamery Ice Cream treats
• Chelo's Street Tacos - including organic, vegetarian, and vegan options

The Rotary Club of Nevada City has distinguished itself through its actions protecting the environment, supporting the well-being of our community, and developing the next generation of leadership
